My name is Salvador Galante, and I am an aspiring sound designer focused on foley, audio editing, and sound creation for games, films, and video content. In June 2026, I completed my Audiovisual and Multimedia bachelor's degree at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, where I developed skills in audio production, audiovisual workflows, 3D, and creative multimedia projects.
I enjoy working with recorded audio and sound libraries to create immersive and impactful sound, as well as editing and shaping audio to better support visual storytelling.
I have experience using Reaper as my main DAW, along with basic knowledge of Pro Tools. I also have experience with 3D modeling in Blender. In addition, I am currently learning Wwise and MetaSounds/Blueprints in Unreal Engine to further develop my skills in interactive audio and game sound design.
My projects include sound redesigns, audio post-production work, voice recordings, and sound editing exercises. I have also worked as a boom operator on academic short film projects. In my work, I always aim to improve clarity, detail, and overall audio quality while continuing to develop my skills and explore new techniques as a sound designer.
